What We Do

Residential Services

Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, our Intensive Residential services are designed for girls and boys, ages 4-13 on admission. Twenty-four children live in three cottages on a 40 acre campus in the capital city of Helena, Montana. Each child’s length of stay is individualized to their needs, with the average being around 16 months.  Contact our Admissions Department to talk about how length of stay and your child.

Our highly integrated, intermediate residential services structure daily living experiences, clinical therapies, academics, to facilitate optimum healing opportunities. Treatment includes clinical assessments, individualized treatment plans, individual, group and family therapies, medication management, an accredited on-campus school offering a full spectrum of educational services, including educational assessments, and a variety of outdoor and community activities.

Our interdisciplinary team of on-staff professionals includes a psychiatrist, registered nurses, licensed therapists, milieu counselors, certified teachers, and support staff.

Our campus consists of 3 houses, each serving 8 children ages 4-14 and a certified non-public school.  Treatment takes place in a family-like environment, which provides a nurturing, individualized, and relationship based treatment environment.

In addition to an intensive therapeutic environment, we provide comprehensive and individualized academic services that are designed to help improve your child’s academic self-esteem and to get them back on-track to be successful at home and in school.
